IGNOU Bed Entrance Exam January 2024 –IGNOU Online Application for IGNOU BEd Admission started on 12th December 2023. The students who want to take Admission to IGNOU Bed Program can submit their online applications before the Last Date of 31st December 2023. IGNOU offers a Bachelor of Education program to all their candidates who want to become a teacher or want to make their career in the teaching faculty.
Candidates can get admission to the IGNOU Bed program by completing the entrance exam conducted by IGNOU University. The bed program includes both theoretical and practical components to improve their skills of teaching and attitude in candidates. IGNOU Bed Admission Last Date is 31st December 2023 to appear in the Bed Entrance Examination going to be conducted on 7th January 2024.
IGNOU Bed Admission 2024
The B.Ed entrance test of IGNOU is conducted once a year for the January session. IGNOU BEd Entrance Examination for the session January 2024 will be conducted by IGNOU University and the entrance examination is officially be conducted as an offline-based examination. No application will be accepted in the hard copy or offline mode from now. Candidates can select either English or Hindi as the medium of the test.

IGNOU Bed Eligibility 2024
- Completed Bachelor Degree with at least 50% marks OR Completed Masters Degree in Science/Commerce/Social Science/Humanity with 50% marks
- Trained in-service teachers in elementary education are also eligible to apply for bed
- The candidate must have the teacher education program through face-to-face mode recognized by NCTE (i.e. DELED).
Note – Candidates who comply with the above eligibility can apply for the IGNOU Bed entrance examination and please note that candidates must have an NCTE-approved program if they have only a bachelor’s or master’s degree.

Candidates have to fill out the online application form for the Bed Entrance exam to get admission in IGNOU Bed. The offline procedure is now closed by IGNOU so students can now apply only through online mode.

IGNOU Bed Fees Structure 2024
Candidates do not need to pay admission fees at the time of submitting the application form. Once you got an offer letter of admission, you can pay your fees only through Demand Draft in favor of IGNOU payable at the regional centre city where you applied. IGNOU Bed Fees of Rs. 55,000 will be paid through a demand draft after getting your name in the final merit list.
Candidates have to fill the application of Bed without any mistake after getting an application form from IGNOU and send it to the concerned regional centre of IGNOU before the last date. After the due date, no application will be accepted.

IGNOU Bed Entrance Exam Structure or Pattern
The entrance paper is divided into two parts: Part-A and Part B. There will be 100 objective-type questions that are divided into Part A and Part B. All questions are multiple-choice questions. Candidates have to choose one right answer from 4 options. For each correct answer, you will get 1 mark while for any unanswered or wrong question, 0 marks will be awarded. There will be no negative marking in the exam.

IGNOU BEd Entrance Answer Key 2024
The candidates who appear in the IGNOU BEd Entrance 2024 are to be informed that the university released the answer key in the month of February 2024 which will be uploaded on IGNOU’s official website. The examination will be conducted in the month of February 2024.
It is also noted that the B.Ed Answer Key will be available to check by IGNOU students till February 2024. The students are also informed that they can send their queries related to the answer key to entrancetest@ignou.ac.in. Please note that no queries or emails will be entertained after February 2024 at 6 PM.

IGNOU Bed Entrance Result 2024
You can download your Bed entrance exam score card from the IGNOU Result section which is available online. If you didn’t get your entrance results then please visit your concerned regional centre to get your Bed scorecard. Please keep in mind that there is no re-evaluation is available for the Bed entrance examination.

IGNOU Bed Merit List 2024
As we all know that the university going to release the Bed entrance exam results for the session January 2024 first and then students will be notified of the Bed Merit List to get to know whether they are shortlisted to get admission to the IGNOU Bed program or not. Here, we will update the merit list for IGNOU Bed Admission 2024 after the university makes an announcement for the same.
If the students get their name in the list of shortlisted candidates then they can proceed to confirm their admission to IGNOU Bed by paying the required admission fees to IGNOU in the form of DD.
Note – Students have to visit the official website of their Regional centre office to check the final merit list of the Bed program. If you found your name on the merit list then you can proceed to submit the admission form for Bed and pay required fees with the form submission.
Instructions for IGNOU Bed Entrance Candidates
- Calculators and other calculation tools, books, and notes are not allowed in the Exam room
- Candidate must reach to exam centre before 9:30 AM because the exam will start from 10:00 AM and over at 12:00 PM
- If candidates are found to be copied from any other’s answer sheet then he/she will be disqualified
- Pay fees after getting shortlisted in the merit list
- Also, submit Score Card and original call letter to the regional centre
- Use the original answer sheet for rough work
